More innovation for tomorrow, that is the promise of the Daihatsu Motor Co Ltd. The car brand is one of those numerous Japanese car names that are collectively taking the global car market by storm. But because Daihatsu is different from the likes of fellow Japanese car firms, like Toyota and Honda, of course, the cars rolled out under the Daihatsu trademark have their own uniqueness and features.

To begin with, Daihatsu is very much popular and recognised the world over due to its pack of smaller car models. In the car industry, you know that small car models are very rare because most people want to buy bulky cars. But in the case of Daihatsu, it has proven that car consumers would also be open to buying small cars especially these days when space and energy requirements of cars are very significant. Small car models would help drivers to easily park their cars. Such car models also consume less energy like gasoline and batteries because the overall car weight is also lighter.

You have guessed it right. Small cars are also comparatively faster than the bulky cars in the market. Simple scientific laws regarding mass and acceleration would explain to you why this is so. Thus, Daihatsu's sales are starting to gain further acceleration in the long run in different markets all over the globe.

Originally, Daihatsu was named Hatsudoki Seizo Co Ltd when it was founded in Japan in 1907. The original production facilities are located somewhere in the Osaka prefecture. Until now, that plant is still actively running following several upgrades in the past. On top of that, some other plants are now running to manufacture some Daihatsu models in other parts of the world.

It was only in 1951 that Daihatsu was permanently known as Daihatsu. In 1967, the car brand began a partnership or a collaboration pact with fellow Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor Corp. The alliance has significantly helped Daihatsu in that the car brand's recognition level domestically and globally has been bolstered.

Now, Daihatsu's famous small cars are known and are patronised the world over. The company also boasts of several passenger car models that make it really proud. Among these models are the Cuore, the Charade, Rocky, Midget and Domino.

Daihatsu cars are really compact compared to the car products of other brands. That is the distinction offered by this car brand since its beginnings. It has been found that there are models in cars that facilitate smallness but at the same time do not compromise elegance and overall cosiness.

Daihatsu are small, yet very comfortable and fast-running. The car brand also claims that it has been using a technology that enables it to make cars that are compact and at the same time environmentally friendly. Superior performance is also ensured. Safety comes first to Daihatsu, so you can be sure that the Daihatsu car you are driving is safe, reliable and fast-running.

Daihatsu car brand is continually doing researches to further improve its cars and make your life much better in the future.
